Hello guys, ok… By looking up the title there are chances that you might think,

“Here goes another motivational article’’…

Various stages of your lives, from the beginning of your school time till now you might have heard a lot of motivational speeches, videos and many more.

So, why not one more…?

But yaa… after hearing such speeches you had felt very enthusiastic and a lot motivated, but this doesn’t last for too long. Am I right…?

“Being Motivated and to Stay Motivated” is two different things.

We all have crossed this at some point in time where we don’t find any motivation around us. At such point, we should try to motivate ourselves by just giving a few credits to our ourselves.

Is it that difficult to appreciate our own selves? NO… we just have to look ourself in a better version.

SELF MOTIVATION is a very important skill that everyone must implement in their daily lives.

WHAT IS SELF MOTIVATION?

Self Motivation is an adjective that describes how you gonna face your struggles and deal with it more deliberately. It makes you keen and more energetic to reach your goal.

Self-Motivation is the word itself that pushes us to complete our tasks.

It helps us to show our purpose and gives a ray of hope in our lives.

HOW TO BE SELF MOTIVATED?

Self-motivation is all about one’s mind-sets. It is a personal drive to achieve one's goal. Here is the list of two types of mindsets.

· FIXED MINDSET:-

The people who have a fixed mindset have their firm decision. They don’t allow themselves to work a little hard and to improve themselves rather than they just stick to their positions evolved by just talents and intelligence and not working to develop in more effective way.

· GROWTH MINDSET:-

Growth mind-set is just the opposite of fixed mind-set. It is a belief that talents can be improve through hard work. Anybody who is not excellent can achieve anything in their life through the amount of hard work he puts into his goal. An average student can score 1st rank if he motivates himself to work hard to be the better version of himself.

TECHNIQUES TO MOTIVATE YOURSELF:-

· MUSIC:-

Whenever you are travelling, there is a common habit seen by everyone that they plug their earphone and start listening to music as if no one is around. Music becomes our best friend while travelling alone.

So y can’t music be our Motivational Support?

Yes, music can play a great role to motivate ourselves. While listening to some music’s it gives goosebumps and immediately it pump ourself and we feel very energetic towards our goal.

· POWER OF WORDS:-

The book we read, the word we heard and what we write creates a great impact on our lives. Reading an inspirational book lead us to think differently in a positive way. By reading books on a daily basis it helps us to tackle our problems and helps to make a better choice more often.

Whenever you read a good book, somewhere in the world a door opens to allow in more light.

· MEDITATION:-

IS MEDITATION HEPLS US TO MOTIVATE OURSELF?

The answer is YES… Meditation does help us to motivate ourselves. Daily meditation helps us to be more focused on our day-to-day activities. As we all have heard by doing meditation we feel calm, composed and relax for the whole day. We can observe it after doing days of meditation we can actually handle tons of problems with quite a peace and relaxation.

Meditation helps us to fight against all the negative energy or bad vibes and indulge only positive energy towards us. It is one of the keys to be successful in life as it helps us to be firm in our decisions. It helps us to overcome depression and those who practice regularly have their advantages –

“Look Younger and Live Longer”.

HOW TO STAY MOTIVATED?

It’s very easy to be motivated rather than to stay motivated.

Here are some tips that will help us to stay motivated.

· SET GOALS:-

When you set a goal, you make a promise to yourself that you have to achieve your set goal by hook and crook. This helps us to stay motivated and pushes towards your dream.

· MAKE YOUR GOALS THAT INTERESTS YOU:-

When you do your favourite things you become more active and you give your 100% into that particular work. So you should always do what you want rather than what others want from you.

· JOT DOWN YOUR PROGRESS:-

In every work, we should list out the things that we had finished and what has to be done to work towards your unfinished list. By seeing the evidence that you are reaching near to your goal helps to motivate ourselves to work more. This creates a positive impact on our mental health.

· BREAK YOUR GOAL:-

When we want to achieve something which is not possible in a day, we can break into parts and try to achieve that. Breaking into parts makes us easier to attain our heights. Start with work which is easier for you to do, this builds confidence among yourself and keeps motivate you to finish it.

WHAT IS THE LOCUS OF CONTROL?

This concept is developed by Julian B. Rotter in 1954 says is a degree to believe that they, as opposed to external forces.

WHAT IS INTERNAL LOCUS OF CONTROL?

Individuals who believe that they control their own life through dedication and hard work and their success or failure is the result of their own efforts. The person who has an internal locus of control takes all the responsibilities of their own actions and the effort they have put it into their work.

WHAT IS EXTERNAL LOCUS OF CONTROL?

The person who has the external locus of control generally believes that the success or failure they had achieved is all because of fate, luck, circumstances, injustice, bias, and so on. In this, the person is not at all responsible for his actions, even though he let go of his stress and be a happier person.

HOW TO STAY FOCUSED?

In every successful story, determination plays an important role. The willpower and how focused you are to achieve your ambition that determines your dedication towards your work.

Taking the initiative to do something enables us to finish that task at our own will rather than someone telling us to do. This is the best way to achieve one's goal- we can find out our own strength and weakness by doing things on our own and implement it by ourself without being annoyed.
